About Me

Charity C. Lockhart

A CELEBRATION OF heart & Soul

From winning $1,000 in an Arizona competition while living in her car with her children, Charity has embarked on an extraordinary journey of resilience, artistry, and purpose.

She created an Aretha Franklin tribute show so authentic and moving that it earned the approval of not only the city of Detroit but also the Franklin family themselves. Her production went on to the cruise lines, making history as the first headliner show to reopen in North America in 2021 aboard the $1.2 billion luxury ship Celebrity Edge, sailing through Europe and the Caribbean. It quickly became one of the highest-rated acts on international waters.

Charity’s performances have taken her around the globe, selling out venues such as Caesars Palace, Wild Horse Pass Casino, Cleveland Playhouse, Parx Casino, Osaka, Kyoto, Las Vegas Jazz Festival, and more. Her shows are more than music—they’re deeply personal, with motivational stories that touch hearts and inspire change.

Beyond the stage, Charity partners with organizations to support students and families affected by homelessness and abuse, providing life-changing tools and hope for a brighter future. With a voice spanning five octaves, she doesn’t just honor legends—she redefines what it means to be a powerhouse in today’s music scene.

Charity’s mission extends far beyond music. She devotes her life to helping others discover their purpose, especially homeless single-parent families. After purchasing her first home in Ohio, she dedicated it to helping families transition into stable housing and now works toward raising funds to build additional homes for those in need.

Most recently, Charity stunned the nation on America’s Got Talent, earning the coveted Golden Buzzer after a breathtaking performance of “Golden Slumbers,” launching her into the hearts of millions. She then went on to the quarterfinals, stunning audiences with her rendition of "Fools Rush In."
